It's fall, y'all.

PHOTOS: LET'S HAVE SOME FUN SHARING OUR PETS!  

NATIONAL CAT DAY is coming Oct 29. Jumpers if you have a cat, take a selfie with it, and put the photo HERE. It will be a fun social media post of jumpers and their cats! (not jumping with our cats, just with our cats :) 

For those with dogs, put a photo HERE with your dog. 

PS - if you don't have a cat/dog, but have a recent selfie with a friend's dog/cat, you can put that in the folder too. :)

ORDER MERCHANDISE: REMINDER THIS CLOSES ON 10/31 

Kangaroo Kids Spirit Wear   If your jumper either does not have the warmups or gets cold under their warmups and they want another layer, then they need the navy colored KK sweatshirt (not another sweatshirt!) to wear when we are in full uniform. QUESTIONS: Email Maggie Mackay at maggiemackay@gmail.com.

TIP OF THE WEEK: TRAVEL TEAM MEMBERS for college halftime shows: the Kangaroo Kids rule is you must help at 2 halftime shows before you are allowed to perform in them. It still counts as a show credit for you to attend. You still wear your uniform. You just help with ropes on the sidelines. You sign up on the sign up genius in the travel team helper line.

• Reece K, on performing team. will be in the Howard County Elementary Gifted and Talented Orchestra's winter concert. He plays viloin! December 6 at 3 pm at Centennial High School.

• Tess Silverman from Travel Team is a senior on our team this year. She is the Director of the play at Howard this fall. Here is her come see me information!

JUMPERS IN HIGH SCHOOL- THIS IS FROM COACH TORI

Virginia Tech is hosting collegiate summit this year, April 10-12. I'll be there judging and helping out. If any of the kkids (particularly high schoolers) are interested in going, they are welcome to help judge. AMJRF certification is NOT required, since Summit is just for fun! Many people only judge speed, but any experienced jumper is welcome to judge freestyle (it's based entirely on vibes, 1-10 for difficuly and 1-10 for presentation). The link to show interest in judging is HERE. More info on Summit will be HERE. Things like hotel blocks, schedule, etc will be added to that link when it gets closer. Could be a fun way to tour the school and learn about collegiate jumprope! I would love if you shared this with travel and competition team!

• 11-30-25 Performing and Travel Team: Festival of Trees.

  BECAUSE THIS SHOW REQUIRES TICKETS TO ENTER, THERE IS A PLACE ON SIGNUP GENIUS. IF YOU KNOW YOUR JUMPER CAN NOT ATTEND. You put their name in the can not attend slot. As these tickets are slightly expensive, we want to make sure to utilize every ticket we get. Thank you for the extra step if your jumper can not attend. Warm up begins at 11:20 (plan to park around 11, walk in at 11:15) This is a ticketed event, more info on tickets on the sign up HERE.
