Kangaroo Kids Wednesday Update 10-07-26
Hello-
PERFORMING TEAM:
New Opportunity: We will be participating in a Trunk Or Treat on Monday Oct 26 in the parking lot of Texas Roadhouse in Columbia! We will be dressed up as a jump rope team! (Wear your uniform!) We will turn ropes and hand out candy (and fliers about our program) You can participate in the trunk or treat also, before or after your shift! Parents, we need you also to hand out fliers and candy! You can also sign up to bring individual wrapped candy to be given out. Please give to Coach Nicole before event, so we know how much more KKids needs to purchase. SIGN UP TO TURN ROPES here ! (this is a show credit) (only for performing team).

Service Hour Opportunity:
Opportunity: Pick up a roll of ribbons from the MAC and cut them apart. Track your time it takes you at home. Or sit at the MAC during practices! The 1st, 2nd, 3rd,4th, 5th place ribbons come on a roll of 600 on a roll. We need them cut apart. There are 9 rolls. Please sign up, take one home, cut them apart, return them. (or sit at the MAC) (They each have a shoebox size plastic bin they go in.) THEY MUST BE RETURNED BY FRIDAY NOVEMBER 6) !!!! We have a tournament we need them for on Nov 7. SO IF YOU NEED SERVICE HOURS, sign up for a roll. Start with 1, if you finish, get another. Thank you.
We will also continue having parents help at the front desk on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for the Winter Semester of classes.
Donating Candy:
We will be accepting individual bags of wrapped candy at practices. Coach Nicole will collect them to take to the Perf Team Opportunity.

Once you register, you get an email right then from AMERICAN JUMP ROPE FEDERATION. I know when buying memberships it had this wording about our tournament, but this does not mean you registered. That was just purchasing your year round membership. Now you need to go to the link and register your jumper, then again, register yourself as judge or patron. Please do this as you (over 18) will have to have time to complete background checks and safety training. Please register now.
