We are happy to have this opportunity in Howard County, and we can hand out summer camp fliers and candy! PLEASE sign up asap. Thank you.
WANT TO BE YOUR OWN COMMITTEE?
Help from home? Get your service hours in at your computer? We need someone to be in charge of Raise Right. This is our online opportunity for people to buy gift cards, or use the gift cards in their app. You can come to begin of class meeting in the fall and talk about it with families then help remind people by sending an email to Nicole for the newsletter the week before its due. Twice a year you help pull a report on the money that people get back! That is right! This is a way for everyone to make their registration money plus some back! It is so easy to use.
Think this at home job(volunteer opportunity :) ) might be for you! Contact Megan Davis vicepresident@kangarookids.org
End-of-Year picnic celebration will be 6-12-26 at 6 pm at the pavilion behind MAC.
Picnic is for jumpers, parents and siblings. It’s a family activity!
We will celebrate our high school seniors, coaches/junior coaches, introduce/vote board members in for the next year, and have food and fun! Mark your calendars to save the date!
Service Hours
Other opportunities for service hours next year- we need an adult to be the Travel Team Coordinator, (this can be 2 people) you come to practices on Mondays and Fridays, take attendance, help with various tasks, keep up the show participation sheet.
Performing Team help. (Help at the front desk every Wed while your jumper is at performing team). You have seen this task.
Class Adult Coach- We would LOVE to have parents be the adult in charge of classes. The travel team jumpers would do the actual jumping and coaching, but you would be there too! You would learn a lot about jump rope! We will work with you on what classes learn, how to run the class, etc. It is a great opportunity, especially if your jumper is a junior coach. You can work with them. (Or on another court from them if that is preferred!)
If you are interested any of these opportunities next year, let me know.
