Need 2 parents to help sell ropes at the show on 3/19. Ropes, and change money will be there. Can give you a lesson on how to size.

PARENT HELP NEEDED:
We really need parents on Tuesday 4/7 at beginning of classes. We need help collecting paperwork and selling ropes! 3 slots still open!!
PERFORMING TEAM:
PLAN TO WEAR YOUR UNIFORM ON BOTH TUES 3/24 and WED 2/25 for end of class shows!
COMPETITION TEAM:
THURSDAY (tomorrow) there is a show. Practice ends when we leave, we will be watching the time and leaving around 4:30-4:40. So if you have homework, stay home and do that first. Or come to practice, we have rides if needed.
(The ones signed up so far from comp team are: Alex, May, Ben, Phoebe, Kaitlyn, Lily, Riley, Cora, Eliza, Darby, Jasmine) This is a former Kangaroo Kid Lifetime member, and we support them as best they can. They just finished a PE unit on jumprope and also we are selling ropes at the show!

Alex's Dad, Tom McManuels, would like to organize a team outing to Sandy Spring Adventure Park on either May 25 or June 26 or 27. Sandy Spring is a climbing park with different obstacles suitable for ages 7 and up.It is about 30 mins southwest of the MAC. https://sandyspringadventurepark.org/
He would make a group reservation and we would get a group discount rate of (about) $52 per attendee (not including optional gloves) (regular rate is $69 plus tax) that must be paid to Kangaroo Kids (cash or check) (no refunds) We are inviting Performing, Travel and Competition Team jumpers to participate and you can sign up one additional climber (parent, sibling, friend) at the group rate if you'd like. Please note that we are asking parents of elementary aged jumpers to stay at the park (you don't have to climb) and help chaperone. Middle and High school parents can drop off.
Finally, this is not a Kangaroo Kids sanctioned event and not covered by Kangaroo Kids insurance.

End-of-Year picnic celebration will be 6-12-26 at 6 pm at the pavilion behind MAC.
We will celebrate our high school seniors, coaches/junior coaches, introduce/vote board members in for the next year, and have food and fun! Mark your calendars to save the date!

JUNIOR COACHES:
IF YOU WANT TO COACH SPRING SEMESTER, but you have not been coaching this winter, LET ME KNOW! If you want to not coach spring, but you were coaching winter, let me know. If you want to change days of coaching, let me know. Otherwise we will stick with this schedule, but may adjust some people if class sizes don’t happen etc. Spring is typically a smaller class size time.

3-20-26 THE JUMPER GETS DROPPED OFF AT THE PARK N RIDE AT 11:30 am. THIS IS THE PARKING LOT BY THE PLAYGROUND. IT IS BEFORE THE MAC, not at the MAC.4951 Meadowbrook Lane. IT IS A LARGE LOT WHERE COMMUNTERS PARK. THE JUMPER SHOULD BE IN FULL UNIFORM, AND HAVE A BAG PACKED WITH LUNCH AND OR SNACKS. KKIDS WILL ALSO PROVIDE SOME SNACKS FOR THIS FUN DAY! They will be assigned to ride in someones car. no school for HoCo--there is a place to put in jumpers name if they have school

Please join us next Wednesday evening, March 25th, 2026 at 7pm for the Mt. Hebron Guitar Showcase 2026. Come out for a fun evening of guitar featuring many wonderful styles of music. Sing along, clap along, bring a guitar if you like. The Mt. Hebron and Patapsco Middle guitarists have put together a terrific show for everyone to enjoy. Doors open at 6:45pm. We hope to see you all there! (likely to be an hour to hour and a half performance) Cora is in a few different groups that will be showcased.
