Tip of the Week
SignUpGenius
When signing up your jumper, make sure you put their name in the signup. Sometimes parent accounts leave a parent's name. There are many new jumpers, and we want everyone to receive accurate credit and be included in our planning.
If you have more than one jumper in your family, sign them both up using two different lines. Some events require tickets, so an accurate count is needed. It is fine to sign up only one jumper if only that jumper can come, but only the jumper signed up will receive a ticket when tickets are involved.
SignUpGenius sends a reminder to the email used for signup 2 days (48 hours) before the event. If you remove your jumper's name after that reminder, email a coach and Nicole Meek to let them know. SignUpGenius does not tell the coach that you removed the name.
Log into SignUpGenius to see every show you are invited to or eligible to sign up for.
General Parent Board Meeting
Did you know there is a virtual Kangaroo Kids board meeting once a month? You are all invited to see how the program is run, including the planning and budgeting.
The first meeting this year is Sept 17 at 7:15 pm. We encourage and welcome everyone to join!

Uniforms
Does everyone have navy shorts from DSG that fit their jumper? Have a try-on—it has been a while! Use the links below to make sure each jumper has their pair of shorts.
Parent Meetings: Back to Jump Rope Night!
Mark your calendars! We really expect one parent or guardian for each jumper to attend. Meet the board, go over expectations and the handbook, ask questions, and meet other parents.
Performing Team
Wed, Sept 16, 5:45 pm. Come inside the MAC; we will meet there!
Travel Team
Monday, Sept 14 at 5:30 pm. Come inside the MAC; we will meet there!
Competition Team
The meeting will be virtual because we are waiting on competition information. Join on Monday, Sept 21 at 7:15 pm to discuss tournaments and more, and ask questions.

Google Drive
Our Google Drive stores music, written routines, Competition Team speed scores and routine music, and board meeting minutes.
We want everyone to be able to access the Drive so jumpers can practice at home and print routines if they prefer. If your jumper uses a phone, tablet, or computer, please take time to try the link below. Or email Nicole Meek your jumper's email address so she can add them to the Drive.

We use this Google Calendar for practices, shows, and other events. Please follow it and add it to your calendar, or send Nicole Meek an email address if you are having difficulty.
Shows
All of these events are on the Google Calendar. Once SignUpGenius and photo links are made and times are confirmed, that information will be shared in the emails and on the Google Calendar.
How Signing Up for Shows Works
For those who are new: this weekly email lists upcoming shows. Click the SignUpGenius link for the address, arrival time, and other pertinent information. You do not wait for a coach to ask. If you are on Performing Team and have a uniform, you are ready to sign up.

If your jumper is signed up but does not show up, they receive a -1 deduction in show credit. We will go over this more at parent meetings.

For the Festival of Trees show only: If you know you will be out of town, sign up to indicate that you will not be coming to the show.
